Totti reveals final swansong

05/07/2006: Francesco Totti has indicated that Sunday's World Cup final will be his last for the Italian national team.

The Roma skipper played a key role in the Azzurri's semi-final success over Germany, lasting the full 90 minutes as well as extra-time following concerns over his fitness.

Totti, who is now 29-years-old, suffered a broken ankle in February and it looked like he would miss the World Cup, so success in Berlin would be a fairytale for the playmaker.

Speaking to Sky Italia, Totti revealed: "I'm 90 percent sure I will leave the national team.

"I hope to end the adventure in a good way."
