Yakin missing from Swiss squad

Support your team with real music tones!15/05/2006: The exclusion of Hakan Yakin was the only major surprise when coach Koebi Kuhn named the Swiss World Cup squad on Monday.

The 29-year-old playmaker has struggled with injuries this year but recent performances for his club side Youg Boys Berne had led many to believe he may have been included.

Uncapped Basel midfielder David Degen was given the go ahead from Yakin.

Kuhn also kept faith in Arsenal defender Johan Djourou and FC Zurich star Blerim Dzemaili who both made their international debuts against Scotland in March.

Switzerland face France, South Korea and Togo.
