Swedish keeper in fitness battle

10/06/2006: Sweden's first-choice keeper Andreas Isaksson is battling to be fit for his country's second game against Paraguay next week.

Isaksson suffered concussion and a face injury when hit full on by a shot from midfielder Kim Kallstrom during training on Wednesday which ruled him out of the opening game against Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday.

The highly rated Stade Rennes keeper has been undergoing intensive treatment and does expect to be ready to face Paraguay on Thursday in Sweden's next game in Group B.
