Sven blasts critics
27/06/2006: Sven Goran Eriksson has hit back at England's critics and says it is impossible to play beautiful, flowing football all of the time.
England booked their place in the quarter-finals with a 1-0 win over Ecuador on Sunday but again the performance was far from convincing as the critics have been quick to point out.
Eriksson's men have yet to hit top form but the Swede says there is no need to panic even though they have stuttered their way through to a showdown with Portugal.
