Suarez inspects German town
07/05/2006: Ecuador's national coach, Luis Suarez, will return to Ecuador on Monday from Germany after inspecting facilities his team will use in preparation for World Cup 2006.
They will be based in the Bavarian town of Bad Kissingen in southern Germany.
Colombian Suarez, accompanied by fitness coach Oswaldo Garcia, visited the team's hotel, the practice grounds, and the local football pitches.
During his visit he met Karl Heinz Laudenbach, Bad Kissingen's mayor, who has promised to make all the city's stadium's available to the squad.
On Tuesday officials will also publish names of the final Ecuador squad, which will play in friendly games in the United States and against Spain.
Ecuador face games against Germany, Costa Rica and Germany in Group A at the World Cup opening up against Poland in Gelsenkirchen on Friday June 9.
