Stars confirm international retirement
22/06/2006: Serbia & Montenegro stars Mladen Krstajic and Savo Milosevic have confirmed their retirement from international football.
Defender Krstajic had planned to carry on playing on the international scene until 2008.
However, the highly rated star broke his left arm in their 3-2 loss to Ivory Coast, and consequently has decided to bring forward his international retirement with immediate effects, but admits he will carry on playing for his club Schalke.
Striker Milosevic, who is the country's most capped player, has also confirmed his international retirement.
