Kewell faces ban

19/06/2006: Harry Kewell could miss Australia's final group match, against Croatia, after being charged by FIFA for insulting the referee.

Kewell was unhappy with referee Markus Merk during their 2-0 defeat to Brazil, and was reported by Merk for swearing at him several times after the final whistle.

Kewell has until Tuesday to respond to the charges, and if found guilty he could be suspended for Australia's final and crucial group game against Croatia.
