Saudi coach confident

05/06/2006: Despite only winning two games since taking charge, Saudi Arabia coach Marcos Paqueta believes his team can progress to the second round of the World Cup.

"Our first target is to reach the second round," Paqueta said.

"We have a good group of players and a mix of experience and youth with high technical football capability, which will make our dream of qualifying for the second round possible."

This will be the Falcons fourth appearance at the World Cup on the run with their best finish being in the 1994 when they got through to the final 16.

Saudi Arabia face Tunisia in Munich on Wednesday June 14 at 4:00pm in their first game of Germany 2006.
