24/04/2006: Few strikers in the world have such a natural ability to sniff out goals as the Netherlands' Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The Manchester United man has scored goals at every level, consistently proving he is one of the best in the game.
The striker has been in the news recently, after being ped by manager Alex Ferguson in favour of the French forward Luis Saha.
Despite that set back, Ruud got on with it and has pushed his way back into the starting line up, playing in front of Wayne Rooney.
Recent reports from the Spanish press have linked Ruud with a move to Spain, with the world's biggest club Real Madrid said to be interested in picking up the 29-year-old.
The Netherlands have become a smart bet among pundits, with some bookmakers giving odds of 14 to one for Ruud's nation to take the trophy home.
With a predator like van Nistelrooy in the side, they certainly have a chance if they can progress from a tough group.
