Rooney fit to start
15/06/2006: Wayne Rooney has been passed fit by the independent medical advisors and could figure against Trinidad & Tobago today.
The news comes as a huge boost to England and boss Sven Goran Eriksson now has to decide whether to play him against the Soca Warriors as the Three Lions look to book their place in the last 16.
Victory tonight would send England into the second round and Eriksson may be tempted to give the Manchester United star a run out at some point in Nuremberg.
