Roberto Carlos
16/05/2006: Although many believe that Roberto Carlos is the best left back in the world, the biggest irony is that he rarely plays there.
Most of the time he is to be found tearing down the touchline, always eager to venture across the halfway line.
The Brazilian left back is now at the end of his very successful career and the 33-year-old will want to show that he still has the ability to impress.
He is also known for having one of the hardest shots in football and he enjoys ratcheting it up at any opportunity. Although his venomous free kicks are sometimes wildly inaccurate, when he gets it right he is capable of scoring from very long range.
He has played for Real Madrid for a decade now, with the Spanish giants buying him from Inter Milan for a measly £3 million.
Although some of his speed has gone, Roberto Carlos still has shed loads of stamina, which he will try and use to full effect in Germany.

14/11/2006: Everyone thinks that the one that does the best tricks in the field is the best player in the world but thats not true no one takes in count the real players like Roberto Carlos is a left fullback and goes up and down the field passing the ball so his team could score some goals thats a real soccer star and thats not all he is one of the best free kick tackers in the world with that power kick of his not even Ronaldinho could beat him.Like I said a good players is not the one who trys to cros out everyone and trys to score a good player is Roberto Carlos and a very very good defender.And if you think I say this because I am brasilian your wrong I am not I am from Guatemalan and of all th players in the world(C.Ronaldo,T.Henry,Ronaldinho,Kaka,and ect.)ROBERTO CARLOS IS THE BEST.
