Robben insists more to come

21/06/2006: Arjen Robben insists that Holland have not hit top form yet and there is much more to come as they prepare to face Argentina.

Robben has enjoyed an impressive start to the World Cup, winning both man-of-the-match awards in the two victories over Serbia and Montenegro and Ivory Coast which has confirmed the side's passage into the knockout stages.

The Dutch face Argentina in Frankfurt on Wednesday night to determine who will top Group C and the Chelsea winger feels that the team will get better.

"There is more to come from us," claimed Robben. "We have played two difficult opponents so far but we have to be satisfied with the way it has turned out.

"One problem we have had is that while we have started games well, we found it difficult to maintain the pressure.

"We should be able to push forward a bit more in the second half of matches, although we also have to recognise we have been playing against tough opponents who are capable of making things difficult."

Robben may miss out on the mouth-watering clash with the South Americans as coach Marco van Basten is likely to rest those players currently on one yellow card so that they are all available for the second round - a decision which Robben accepts.

"It would be nice to finish top but the main thing is to qualify, which is what we have done," said the 22-year-old.

"Our results so far have taken the pressure off to an extent and it does mean we don't have to approach Argentina in quite the same way."
