Rezaei : Preparations weren't good enough
23/06/2006: Iran defender Rahman Rezaei says the team's preparations may not have been adequate for this summer's World Cup.
The Asian nation exited the competition with a 1-1 draw against Angola meaning they finished bottom of the group. Rezaei, who came into the tournament with high hopes says they are leaving very disappointed at how they played.
The 31-year-old Messina star said: "We had some physical problems. We couldn't run enough and we were not able to understand how we were progressing day by day and week by week."
