Reyna opts to call it a day
23/06/2006: USA midfielder Claudio Reyna has announced his retirement from international football and Brian McBride is tempted to follow suit.
Manchester City star Reyna said: "That's it. For me, the right time to retire is now. The next World Cup is far away. I just wanted to play this as the last World Cup."
Meanwhile, McBride revealed: "I'll talk with my family, but I know this will be my last World Cup. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with the team."
