Polish FA coach hint
18/06/2006: The chief executive of the Polish Football Association has indicated coach Pawel Janas could keep his job if Poland beat Costa Rica.
Officials have stated that they will review the coach's position after the World Cup following a disappointing competition, with defeats already against Germany and Ecuador.
But Janas has been handed a lifeline, with chief executive Michal Listkiewicz hinting that a good performance and result in the final Group A game could save his job.
