Dado Prso
26/04/2006: Dado Prso burst on to the world stage when his goals managed to fire Monaco into a Champions League final.
The Croatian striker had been picked up by Monaco after he played in a friendly match against the club. The manager, then John Tigana, rated Prso and signed him as a result.
Although he did not make the first team for a long time, Prso battled wherever he was sent to and eventually made his debut for Monaco in 1999. He had a real impact. Not only did Monaco take the French title that year, but it was also a Prso goal that clinched it.
Now at Scottish side Rangers, Prso continues to score goals and has attracted interest from Premiership sides.
His international career was also immediately successful, with the big forward scoring on his debut.
He will be keen to perform well this summer, however, as there is talk that he could retire from the international game after Germany.
