Paraguay retain unbeaten run
29/05/2006: Paraguay remained unbeaten on their mini-tour of Scandinavia thanks to a 1-1 draw against Denmark.
The hosts went behind to Jose Cardozo's goal but were back level shortly after half-time through former Newcastle striker Jon Dahl Tomasson.
In an entertaining game Denmark proved stronger than the visitors, though Paraguay looked very capable on the counter attack.
Coach Anibal Ruiz was pleased he had the opportunity to play a side similar to England before the pair meet in the opening game of Group b on June 10.
"Matches like this are very good for us because Denmark have the same style of play as the English team, who are also physical and aggressive," said Ruiz.
