Injury woe for Villar
11/06/2006: Paraguay goalkeeper Justo Villar looks set to miss the rest of the World Cup after limping off during their 1-0 defeat to England.
The 28-year-old pulled a muscle in his calf, when sliding out to make a clearance, shortly after the start of the game and left the field in tears. He was replaced by Aldo Bobadilla, leaving coach Anibal Ruiz anxious to know if he would take any further part in their World Cup pursuit.
After consulting his medical staff Ruiz revealed: "The information I have from the team doctor is that he will be out for a minimum of two weeks, probably three."
