Mourinho betting on World Cup
06/06/2006: Jose Mourinho will be betting on Holland and Germany as lively outsiders to win this year's World Cup in Germany.
The outspoken manager will be having a World Cup bet on either the hosts or Holland to topple the favourites Brazil and be the outright winner come July 9.
"I have no idea who can stop Brazil because they have such a strong team, much more so than in 2002," he said.
"For now, there are two teams who stand out - Holland and Germany.
"Their coaches inspire me. They were courageous players and they impose their playing style as coaches.
"I don't know if they will have good or bad results but within three years and they'll do well."
Holland can be backed at around the 18 due to the Dutch injury problems while Germany are the second favourites at around 9.8.
