Ljungberg eyes goal rush

16/06/2006: Freddie Ljungberg is hoping his late winner against Paraguay will give Sweden the impetus to kick on at Germany 2006.

The Arsenal midfielder's headed goal in the 89th minute of Thursday's Group B clash means that if Sweden - who have not lost to England for 38 years - beat Sven-Goran's Eriksson's men in Cologne on Tuesday then they will go through as group winners.
Sweden have struggled to find the net in 2006 but Ljungberg feels the best is yet to come.

He said: "We were getting worried but hopefully now we have finally scored the goals will come.

"It is going to be a massive game against England because we both want to win the group. It is going to be difficult because they are a good team but it should be a great game.

"I think we played better than against Trinidad and Tobago, but unfortunately we had the same problem that we created a lot of chances but couldn't score.

"A team can have a run like that so let's just hope that the run is now over."
