Lippi's dream success
05/07/2006: Marcello Lippi admits reaching the World Cup final is a dream come true, adding that Italy played a 'great game' to beat Germany.
The Italy coach felt his side deserved to be celebrating a place in the final and is now fully focused on ending Italy's 24-year wait to lift the World Cup trophy.
Lippi said: "This is the realisation of a dream that has lasted a long time.
"If there was a team that was going to win this game, it was going to be us.
"We dominated the territory and we were tired at the end and risked a bit, but not too much."
