Kuhn hails Swiss
14/06/2006: Switzerland coach Kobi Kuhn has hailed the performance of his team after they fought out a 0-0 draw with France.
The Swiss more than held their own against France and they could have even nicked all three points at the death when Alexander Frei almost headed home a free-kick from close range.
Kuhn felt his young side could have put more pressure on their opponents but was happy with the point and expects an improvement as the tournament goes on.
"We made too many errors," said Kuhn. "We found it very hard to exploit that area between the French defence and their midfield.
"But that's not entirely the fault of the team because we must remember we were playing against a team as good as France.
"Not all our players are used to big games like this one but it's something we must get used to."
