Koller injury boost
13/06/2006: The Czech Republic have received a boost with the news that striker Jan Koller's injury is not as bad as first thought.
The giant hit-man got his and his country's World Cup off to the perfect start with a superb headed goal after just five minutes but ecstasy turned to agony as the Monaco man went down in the opposition box clutching his thigh.
He was stretchered off and, with the pain etched on his face, it appeared as though the former Borussia Dortmund star would play no further part in the Germany extravaganza.
However, the news is more positive following a scan and Koller is hoping that he will be back in action sooner rather than later.
