Klinsmann's winning joy

Support Germany with real music tones and wallpapers!24/06/2006: Jurgen Klinsmann could not hide his delight at Germany's performance as the hosts booked their place in last eight of the World Cup.

Germany ran out 2-0 winners against 10-man Sweden in Munich in a clash that they completely dominated as Lukas Podolski bagged a brace. The scoreline could have been higher had it not been for a series of saves from keeper Andreas Isaksson.

Reflecting on the victory Klinsmann felt that everything went to plan, commenting: "It was a top operation. We were very prepared and we respected them, especially the attacking trio."

The former Spurs man says that his side wanted to take the game to Sweden from the off and also keep a clean sheet.

He added: "We did not want to concede a goal. We did not want to give them any breathing space.

"We wanted to go from the first minute. We wanted to get a goal."
