Kaka
11/05/2006: Kaka is yet another attacking Brazilian who is sure to strike fear in the heart of any defence during the World Cup.
Just in case Brazil's attacking options of Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Adriano and Robinho fail to deliver, opposing teams will have to face the pace and skill of Kaka arriving in the box from midfield to trouble the keeper.
Kaka was regarded as a potential world beater when at Sao Paulo he showed that he was able to control a game.
Even as a teenager, his composure and maturity on the ball had sides from Europe queuing up for his signature.
He was quickly picked up by Italian footballing giants AC Milan and, now 24, is currently regarded as one of the best and most exciting midfielders in the world.
He made his international debut while still in his teens due to his club form, which meant that the then coach Luiz Felipe Scolari simply could not leave him out of his plans.
Always looking to have a shot on goal, Kaka should provide some fireworks during the summer's tournament in Germany.
