Janas relieved by win
21/06/2006: Poland coach Pawal Janas says he was relieved the team ended the tournament on a winning note after their 2-1 victory over Costa Rica.
Janas has come under increasing criticism and his future with the national side looks under threat, following a disappointing World Cup campaign.
The Poles were eliminated from the competition after their second game, having failed to gain any points or score any goals, but they came from a goal down to beat Costa Rica 2-1 and seal third spot in the group.
