Iker Casillas
30/04/2006: Iker Casillas is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and in June he will set out with the aim of getting his hands on the world's most sought after trophies.
Despite always showing promise Spain have never won the world's most prestigious trophy.
The whole of Spain will be hoping for a change in that statistic and in Casillas they have firm guard behind their strong defence.
Despite being only 24, the Real Madrid stopper is regarded to have few peers between the sticks.
Suspensions and injuries presented Casillas with his chance at Real Madrid when he was just 17 and despite some shaky performances in his early games manager Vicente Del Bosque kept faith in the youngster and he was rewarded with the Spaniard keeping a clean sheet in the Champions League Final of 2000 when Los Galacticos beat Valencia 3-0.
A consistently high performer Casillas is essentially a shot stopper with some question marks about the way he deals with crosses.
Having broken into the national side at the tender age of 18 he now can boast over 50 caps and with his help Spain have one of their best chances of picking up a victory in a major tournament for many years.

02/08/2006: CASILLAS IS SO FREAKEN HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And an excellent goalkeeper.... very talented young man...Eva Gonzales is very lucky to have him. One question though,can he speak english?? coz i don't undersnatd any of his interviews, they're all in spainsh :(
