Henry backs French winger
03/06/2006: France striker Thierry Henry has backed one of his team-mates to be a big star at the upcoming World Cup.
The Arsenal striker belives Franck Ribery has what it takes after impressing in two recent frindly wins.
"I am convinced he could bring far more to the national team in the near future," the France star said. "He is a valuable weapon for Les Bleus.
"Franck will come on every time now. Once he was on the pitch, we all immediately started looking for him. His game is very simple. He always moves the ball forward and is also clever enough to retain it for a bit when necessary."
He added: "Having him on the team is a real bonus."
