Gerrard on the attack

10/06/2006: Steven Gerrard wants England to be aggressive as they look to kick-start their Germany 2006 campaign with a win against Paraguay.

The Liverpool powerhouse, who is expected to shake off a back problem for the Group B clash, wants England to put caution to one side and go for broke against their opponents from the opening whistle.

He said: "We are England. We have got to be aggressive, go after teams and kill them off, because one goal might not be enough.

"We've got to go in with a 'no fear' attitude. We'll respect but not fear."
