Coach angered by poor display
03/06/2006: After his side's disappointing 1-0 defeat to the Czech Republic in Jablonec, coach Alexandre Guimaraes was angry about the attitude of his players.
Guimaraes believed the reserve side he put out did nothing to change his view on his starting eleven.
"They did not want to play from the kick-off," said the Brazilian.
"I have the line-up to play against Germany in the first match. But some players do not understand about the World Cup.
"I am angry because some players do not understand that they have the chance to win a place but that they failed to take advantage of that chance."
Referring to his probable starting line-up against Germany, he said: "If I had some doubts before, the Costa Rica players made me it easy."
