Cafu
09/06/2006: It is quite remarkable that a man who turned 36 this week can still manage to be regarded as one of the most talented wing backs in world football.
But that is exactly what Brazilian right back Cafu has achieved and he is still playing well enough to have earned himself a place on the plane to Germany.
Not only that, but he is still playing his domestic football at one of the biggest clubs in the world, AC Milan.
Cafu has had an astonishingly successful career, shown by the fact that he is the only player ever to have appeared in three consecutive World Cup finals – who would bet against him appearing in a fourth?
He will also be wearing the captain's armband in Germany and will lead out a star-studded team that are the hot favourites to win the competition.
He is also Brazil's most capped player of all time.

25/06/2006: Cafu's a very good player and an admirable one too. Not too much in the spotlight but when you look at his profile, very impressive! glad he's the captain-well deserved. He's ALWAYS calm with a smile on his face in all sorts of situations which is what the team needs ALL the time-someone to remain cool...look forward to meeting him oneday!!;-)
