Bruckner hoping to stay on
23/06/2006: Coach Karel Bruckner says he wants to stay on in charge of Czech Republic and looks set to land a two-year extension.
The Czech FA are thought to be currently considering handing Bruckner the new offer and the tactician has made no secret of the fact that he would like to stay on despite this summer's disappointment.
A spokesman for the Czech team, Lukas Tucek, explained: "Bruckner said that if the FA was to offer it to him, he would like to be the head coach."
