Borgetti ruled out
19/06/2006: Jared Borgetti is out of Mexico's final group game against Portugal after tearing his left thigh muscle.
However, despite his injury there are hopes he will be fit to resume playing should the team qualify for the knock-out stage of the competition.
Borgetti missed El Tricolores 0-0 draw with Angola and physio Milton Graniolatti said it still needed more time to heal.
Speaking after the most recent training session Graniolatti said: "He cannot play for this game against Portugal but there's hope he will play in the next game."
