Big doubt over Ibrahimovic

17/06/2006: Star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a major doubt for Sweden's final group game against England as he has a groin injury.

The Juventus forward suffered the injury in the warm-up to his country's game against Paraguay on Thursday but still played in the first half of the win.

However Sweden team doctor Anders Valentin has admitted he is a major doubt to play in the crucial Group B showdown with England on Tuesday.

"Zlatan was injured during the warm-up against Paraguay and the injury got worse during the game and he couldn't go on after the break," Valentin told SVT Sport.

"During the next few days he will undergo rehabilitation training and I can't see him in the game against England."

If the 24-year-old does not make it, former Aston Villa striker Marcus Allback is likely to get the nod to face Sven Goran Eriksson's side in their final game of World Cup 2006.
