Berlusconi dreams of Brazilian capture

29/08/2006: Milan supremo Silvio Berlusconi says he dreams of one day seeing Ronaldinho play for the club.

The Barcelona midfielder is regarded by many as being the best player in the world at present and all of Europe's elite clubs would be delighted to have the chance to name him in their side.

However, it appears that Milan are ready to attempt to make that happen in the near future with Berlusconi stating he would be prepared to part with a substantial amount of money to take Ronaldinho to the San Siro.

However, Barca certainly are not willing to sell at present and the Milan supremo says it will take some doing to acquire the Samba star's signature.

Speaking to the Italian press he said: "Ronaldinho is our impossible dream, because Barcelona won't allow themselves to lose a player like him.

"If there was a possibility of signing him, who wouldn't sign him?

"Even with the financial sacrifice, for a player like Ronaldinho I'd be ready to do it."
