Argentina v Germany

26/06/2006: Michael Ballack is an early doubt for Germany's quarter final clash with Argentina after picking up a foot injury.

The Germany skipper missed Sunday's training session having suffered the injury in Saturday's second round victory over Sweden in Munich.

With the last eight game just four days away Ballack, who has been the key figure for the hosts World Cup run, is a major concern for Jurgen Klinsmann.

Assistant coach Oliver Bierhoff admitted: "He has a slight foot problem, which we are looking into."

There are no other injury problems for the hosts, who face Argentina in the quarter-finals in Berlin on Friday, with Miroslav Klose still leading the race for the Golden Shoe with four goals in the tournament so far.

Comments on: Argentina v Germany

26/06/2006: The experience and the good players will give Argentina the win against Germany. 3-1, I think.

27/06/2006: je porte sur mon coeur la selection d'argentine,il sont tous de finis techniciens mais je ne crois qu'il sera ausi facil pou eux de gagner ce match le score :2-1 en faveur d'argentine

27/06/2006: In midfield Messi instead of Cambiasso and Tevez instead of Saviola. I think this is the best first eleven for Argentina against Germany. I think Argentina will win.

03/07/2006: argentina lost because of the ref. Does anyone agree? He missed really important details and judged wrongly. Worst ref of the tournament
