Angola warm up with win
30/04/2006: Angola cruised to a 5-1 Cosafa Castle Cup win over Mauritius in a World Cup warm-up fixture on Saturday.
Guillano Edouard gave Mauritius a shock lead in the opening minute, but their joy was short-lived as Fabrice Akwa took less than 60 seconds to equalise.
Akwa put Angola ahead on 25 minutes and they never looked back, with three second half strikes confirming their superiority.
Andre Mateus hit a double within five minutes and the rout was completed by substitute Arsenio Love in injury time.
The victory proved an encouraging work-out for the Palancas Negras who face Portugal, Mexico and Iran in the first stage of Fifa World Cup 2006.
