England reached the next phase of the World Cup after a comfortable victory over Slovenia in Port Elizabeth. The final score was 1-0 to England.

 

Goal from Jermain Defoe means the Three Lions will face Germany in the next round with the game to be played on Sunday June 27th at 3:00pm GMT.

Yes England have gone through to the next round but they will have to play far better and someone will have to start scoring some goals if they are to beat Germany and have any hopes alive for World Cup 2010
