England advance to knockout stages

England reached the next phase of the World Cup after a comfortable victory over Slovenia in Port Elizabeth. The final score was 1-0 to England.
Goal from Jermain Defoe means the Three Lions will face Germany in the next round with the game to be played on Sunday June 27th at 3:00pm GMT.
Everything finally came together for England and a nation can breathe a sigh of relief as they avoided a first round exit for the first time in history. England's odd shortened on the betting exchange Betfair and are now trading as low as 8.6 for victory on June 11th. Check latest odds here
