After suggesting yesterday Netherlands v Denmark would be my only live blog, I'm back with Portugal v Ivory Coast. The team sheets are in and Didier Drogba is on the bench for Cote d'Ivoire as some of you like to call them.

 

 

Here are the line-ups. Surnames only, we are quite formal over here at A2bworldcup....some confusion though...is Barry a surname? Is Danny a surname?

 

Ivory Coast: Barry, Kolo Toure, Zokora, Kalou, Tiote, Gervinho, Dindane, Tiene, Yaya Toure, Demel, Eboue

Portugal: Eduardo, Alves, Ferriera, Carvalho, Mendez, Ronaldo, Liedson, Danny, Meireles, Deco, Coentrao

2 mins: Ivory Coast not only have the embarrassment of Sven as their coach but are wearing the tighest kit I have ever seen.

 

6 mins: Nothing has actually happened yet..

 

7 mins Zokora booked for foul on Ronalado who makes a meal out of it before taking a schoolboy free-kick.

 

11 mins. Sharp turn from Ronaldo before he hits the post from 25 metres. Determined to prove his is better than Messi - he's not though.

 

14 mins: Tiene goes close with a free kick for Ivory Coast. Bad haircut spotted on Gervinho - a Floella Benjamin.

 20 mins Bookings for Demel and Ronaldo for handbags. Silly.

 

25 mins: Pretty ordinary game so far. Both sides will be scared to lose this considering their future opponents in this Group.

 

28 mins: Toure looks to have injured himself when diving. Marvellous. No, just seems to be a bit of time wasting.

 

35 mins: Off topic but ITV have sacked Robbie Earle for ticket touting. Shame it wasn't Tyldsley some may say. Game still a bit rubbish.

 

40 mins: Highlight so far has to be Sven's pure white Kenny coat. Lovely.

 

42 mins: Ivory Coast's kit is officially described as 'off orange'

 

45 mins: Half-Time 0-0. First chance to get by Boar draw gag in.

 

Second half underway. Not looking forward to this.

48 mins: Game so bad, German TV seem just to be concentrating on Drogba warming up.

 

55 mins: Substitution Simao for Danny. Ivory Coast starting to look stronger.

 

61 mins: Tiago comes on to replace a tiring Deco while we are set to see the introduction of the biggest diver and cheater of all time - Didier Drogba.

 

63 mins: Drogba and his bionic arm comes on ...the draw is now odds on Betfair at 1.9

 

71 mins: Ronaldo now on 14 dives...same number as wasted final balls from Ivory Coast.

 

79 mins: Free kick in dangerous place from Ronaldo but his up and over failed to come down quickly enough. Portugal now getting on top.

 

82 mins: Keita replaces the balding Floella Benjamin Gervinho for Ivory Coast.

 

89 mins: A terrible game. Hopefully,it will be over soon. In the meantime check out the England v Algeria odds

 

90mins. It's all over after a couple of late chances for Ivory Coast.
