The team news is in so here we go.

Holland team: Stekelenburg, van der Wiel, Heitinga, Mathijsen, van Bronckhurst, van Bommel, Kuyt, De Jong, van Persie, Sneijder, van der Vaart

Denmark team: Sorensen, C Poulsen, Kjaer, Agger, L Jacobsen, Jorgensen, Bendtner, Kahlenberg, SB Poulsen, Rommedahl, Enevoldsen

Pre-match: Remember this is is only live blog which will not mention vuvuzela.

5 mins: Not much happening. First set piece chance for Holland 35 metres out but blasted over by Sneijder.

7mins : Similar free kick position for Enevoldsen but hit tamely wide.

9 mins: Shot by Kuyt which was fumbled slightly by Sorensen. Holland putting some passes together but not a great game so far.

15 mins:

17 mins: Kuyt looking resplendent with his new tight perm look.

19 mins: Holland starting to grow in confidence. Van Persie and Van de Vaart combine well on two occasions but both shots from the latter off target.

24 mins: Both sides struggling playing long passes with this lightweight ball.

27 mins: First real chance of the game falls to Denmark but a poor header from Bentner when he should have done better after a long ball finally found a man from Daniel Agger.

28 mins Yellow card for Hettinger for nasty looking tackle.

39 mins: Denmark slowly growing in confidence and have kept Holland fairly quiet. Still a scrappy encounter.

42 mins Good chance for Van Persie but cracks it wide when he sould have done better.

Second Half is underway

46 mins: GOAL!!! Own Goal. Netherlands 1 Denmark 0 Cross from Van Persie and a skewed header clearance from Simon Poulsen. Unlucky Denmark

55 mins: Holland sitting back on their lead. Substitution. On comes Jesper Grønkjær replacing Thomas Enevoldsen.

57 mins German commentator getting overexcited whenever a Bundesliga player touches the ball.

61 mins. The disappointing Bentner is relaced by Mikkel Beckman.

64 mins: With a new Bundesliga player on the pitch with Elia of Hamburg replacing van der Vaart, there is new spring in the step of the German commentator.

76 mins German TV content on picking out famous ex-players from the crowd. Michel Platini, Zidane and Cruyff found already. Van Persie comes off and is replaced by Ibrahim Afellay who I have never heard of.

81 mins: Deflected effort from Wesley Sneijder hit the top of the bar.

82 mins: GOAL!! Dirk Kuyt couldn't miss as good work from Elia saw the ball rebound off the post and the Liverpool player slotted home. Netherlands 2 a disappointing Denmark 0

88 mins Poulson makes an amazing goal-line clearance, reminiscient of Cannavaro in the Nike ad.

Final Score Netherlands 2 Denmark 0. A professional job by the Dutch in a midly entertaining game.

Can't watch the stream, too many people walking past my desk at work. How's it looking for a big Holland win? Cos I know a guy who's got money on it :)

Half-time. This live text is more entertaining than the game. Kuyt's tight perm is indeed the highlight.
