Anyone in their right mind knows that World In Motion featuring the John Barnes rap is the classiest World Cup tune of all time but Barnes brought us more joy recently after his Wikipedia page was vandalised.
Under a section called Strategy and Tactics, the following changes were made.
Teams managed by Barnes are taught to either hold or give providing they do it at the right time. When in attack Barnes' sides attempt to get the ball to the line at a variety of speeds ranging from slow to fast.
In teamtalks Barnes always warns his players to be wary of the opposition's attempts to both hit them and hurt them both in defence and attack. One criticism levelled at sides managed by Barnes is that one way to beat their opposition is as a result of getting around the back.
John Barnes, although born in Jamaica is a self proclaimed England man.
