Last week I gave you some potential earners, this week we look at a bet which appears to print money, and a 25/1 shout that could just give you a nice little win this summer.
Gareth Barry to be included in the World Cup squad at 8/11
At 8/11 this bet appears to be an absolute certainty. Despite his sprained ankle, it is expected that Fabio Capello will take a bit of a risk and take the Manchester City midfielder to South Africa.
Barry is set to miss four weeks, which would see him miss all England's warm up games, but a four week spell on the sidelines would see a return just before England begin their campaign against the USA on the 12th of June.
Had it not been for his injury you would probably be looking at odds of around 1/50 for Barry to be selected for a place in the squad, so there is real value in an 8/11 bet, and the fact of the matter is that Capello doesn't have a wealth of options to chose from in the middle of the park, so Barry is all but certain to go to South Africa.
Brazil to win World Cup and Luis Fabiano be top goalscorer at 25/1
While the Gareth Barry bet is almost certain in my eyes, this is a long shot, but on paper it could easily prove to be an excellent bet.
Brazil are the second favourites for the World Cup, they have impressed in warm up games, and look like they will challenge once again in South Africa. While they have a hard group, they should come through, and from then on, I wouldn't back against Brazil in any game.
If Brazil are to emerge victorious from South Africa, then they are going to have scored goals, and in Fabiano they have somebody who can score goals for fun. Fabiano is one of the less glamorous players in the Brazil side, but the Seville striker has a terrific record for his country, scoring 25 times in his 38 caps.
Brazil won the Confederations Cup last summer, and Fabiano was top scorer then, so at 25/1 it may well be worth backing the two to happen on a bigger scale this summer.
