The last time I played a FIFA World Cup computer game was 1998, where me and my mate would play a 4-minute each-way match of every game that was being played later in the day in real life, before then getting his dad to put 50p each time for us on the correct score after we'd 'predicted' it in virtual world.
After about the age of 14 my interest in any type of computer games completely died, and so I haven't really been there to experience the gradual improvements in game play, graphics, etc...
So, seeing this trailer for EA Sports' new World Cup game has left me quite impressed. Things have certainly come a long way in the past 12 years.
Shame that I don't have a console to play it on, otherwise you know I'd be back on the 50p bets :-)
